Interview with Hots CEO

The next person I interview was the Hot Radio & Hot Gold CEO, Kevin Scott.


This interview was very important to my piece as hearing both the positive and the negative effects being spoken about by a radio CEO would defiantly have an impact on peoples thoughts and help them agree more with my points as it has be proven that people trust in, and listen more to people of power, knowledge or status. In the situation of how social media has helped hot radio, Kevin has all 3 of these factors.


I feel the interview itself went really well! Kevin was more than happy to go into plenty of detail about the station, how its run, the highs and lows, the importance of social media & audience interaction, as well as the importance of local radio in this day and age.

This interview gave me loads of good quotes and content I could use throughout my documentary. It also gave me things to think about that I hadn't thought of including before such as the negative effects on a persons interaction skills or the need for two senses to communicate successfully.


The only thing that is sad about this situation is that I will not be able to use all of the interview within my documentary were my documentary is only allowed to be 7 minutes long.
